EMPOWERING EDUCATORS AT
COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL
COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL
If you want to create an ongoing basis for feedback based on specific learning activities (presentations, assignments, etc.), you may consider introducing activities to your course. The activities can be voluntary or compulsory.
If the activity is compulsory, it is a prerequisite that the activity is approved before the student will be allowed to take part in the final exam. It is important to distinguish between a compulsory activity and an exam. Compulsory activities are not midterms or exams – they are teaching activities, and the purpose of them is to support the students’ learning. Therefore, when assessing these activities, please remember that the students must only make an attempt at solving/completing the assignment to receive an approval (see programme regulations §13).
