EMPOWERING EDUCATORS AT
COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL
COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL
Welcome to the EDQ Podcast, where we explore the challenges and opportunities facing higher education today. Each episode, we sit down with educators, researchers, and thought leaders to share stories, insights, and practical ideas for teaching and learning.
In our first episode, we’re excited to have Dr. Lynn Gribble as our guest. Dr. Gribble is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and a leading voice in AI-enhanced teaching and learning. She’s known for her innovative digital practices and co-leads the AI Community of Practice at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Lynn has played a key role in shaping national policies around AI and academic integrity, and her work offers invaluable perspectives on integrating AI into educational practices.
When Lynn Gribble saw ChatGPT for the first time, she thought: “Everything is going to change.” And it did. In this episode, she talks through what that shift looked like in real time—what changed in her classroom, what changed in her thinking, and what she let go of along the way.
Lynn walks us through how she uses AI in the moment. She asks a question to 400 students, gathers their responses live, feeds them into a large language model, and responds on the spot. Not next week. Not by email. Right there in the room. That kind of immediacy changes what it means to teach at scale.
We also talk about how the traditional essay might no longer match the world we’re preparing students for. Lynn shares why formats like memos, critical reflections, and interactive orals feel more aligned with real-world communication. And how AI is helping her design for those shifts.

“I remember seeing a demonstration of ChatGPT and I had that moment of I went, this is so exciting. Everything is going to change. I have spent a large portion of my academic life trying to reimagine education, trying to look at what could make assessment more interesting, what can make learning more interesting… And I realized that I needed to change everything. And while that felt slightly overwhelming, it also felt really exciting. It felt like we could take the rule book and reinterpret it.”
