The aim of this programme is to enhance your teaching skills and boost your confidence in the classroom. The programme is designed to provide you with fundamental knowledge, strategies, and tools that will help you take on the role of a university educator. Through this programme, you will plan a lesson, gain practical experience, and receive constructive feedback.

– as a PhD student, you are required to complete the programme if you have teaching obligations
– only register for the 2-day intensive course below once you know when you will be teaching
Programme overview
The programme consists of three components:
3. Elective courses (equivalent to 1 course day / approximately 7 hours):
You can choose from a variety of additional courses in EDQ’s course catalogue. You decide whether you would like to participate in a 1-day course or several shorter courses, workshops or webinars. This allows you to tailor the programme to your interests and needs. You can start taking these courses at any point.

• Reflect on aspects of classroom management.
• Develop a lesson plan that aligns learning goals with learning activities and assessment.

Workload
The 2-day course, supervision, and elective course(s) combined is a workload of 30 hours. You must complete all three parts of the programme to be awarded the 30 Prophix hours.
