EMPOWERING EDUCATORS AT
COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL
COPENHAGEN BUSINESS SCHOOL

That question brought together faculty from across CBS for the first meeting of the Faculty AI Forum (FAIF) on October 29, 2025.
FAIF expands its focus to explore how AI is reshaping not only education but also research, administration, ethics, and society. As the successor to the SIG, the Forum continues its spirit of collaboration while broadening its scope and ambition. The Forum aims to serve as a collegial space where faculty can exchange experiences, raise critical questions, and help shape CBS’s broader engagement with AI.
The meeting began with an introduction by Christian Hendriksen highlighting innovative uses of frontier AI models in academic work. This was followed by an interesting and thought-provoking presentation by Anil R. Doshi, an Associate Professor at UCL School of Management, that challenged participants to think critically about AI’s implications for academic practice and the future of higher education.
After the presentation and a lively Q&A, faculty continued the conversation in small group discussions; sharing examples, concerns, and ideas for how FAIF can evolve as a collaborative and forward-looking platform. The atmosphere was both energetic and reflective, marked by curiosity, constructive debate, and a shared sense of purpose.
The event concluded with a strong sense that CBS is ready to take a leading role in shaping how AI is integrated into the life of the university, not just as a tool, but as a topic for collective inquiry and dialogue.
We extend our warm thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to making this first meeting such a success. The FAIF Steering Group is already planning the next sessions, which will continue to explore AI’s impact across CBS.
Stay tuned for upcoming events and if you are a CBS faculty member interested in joining the conversation, you are warmly invited to get involved in FAIF.
