Podcasting

The course will answer the following questions:

• What are the benefits of using podcast in teaching?

• When should I choose podcast rather than video?

• What different podcast formats exist and which is better for my teaching?

• What equipment and facilities can Teaching & Learning offer?

Target group

Teachers at CBS who want to get a basic introduction to the podcast medium, and when and how to use it their (blended) courses.

Intended learning outcomes

After the workshop, you will:

• Understand different basic concepts and formats of podcasting

• Get a better sense of when to choose video and when to choose podcast for your teaching

• Get an introduction to CBS’ podcasting facilities
