About

The Performance Studio is designed for teaching sessions involving role-play, class debates, and workshops. It has flexible furniture with three possible configurations.

The Scene configuration (blue color-code) may for example be used for enacting a role-play at center-stage, with the rest of the class as audience.

The Workshop configuration (yellow color-code) may be used engaging in team-based activities where each team works on a different white-board.

The Debate configuration (green color-code) may for example be used for enacting a debate between a few students center-stage (e.g., around a table placed in the center), with the rest of the class as audience. Or it may support class debates for the whole class, where half of the class debates the other half, moderated by the teacher.

The Scene configuration (blue color-code) may for example be used for enacting a role-play at center-stage, with the rest of the class as audience.

Please note that you (together with your students) need to arrange the furniture in the configuration you need for your teaching session. With the help of your students, this only takes a couple of minutes. Use the color-codes marked on the floor to place the furniture appropriately.
