If you are looking for inspiration or guidance on how to choose online activities that correspond best with your teaching and learning objectives, we have developed an overview of online activities that work for both asynchronous (self-paced) and synchronous (live) online teaching.
You can find the overview here: Choosing your online activities
The guidelines presented in the following codex is to establish a structure for professors and students to reach a shared understanding of proper online behavior. The codex can be used as a starting point for talking to your students about online teaching behavior and to align expectations before or during your online classes – you are also welcome to upload the document to your Canvas course.

CBS made an organization-wide survey examining both students and staff’s experiences from the teaching during lockdown in the Spring 2020. Read about the results of the survey as well as good tips from CBS educators here:
If you are interested to learn more about the questions and content of the surveys, you can find the relevant documents below:

It’s a good idea to use an external camera and microphone/headset if possible. You can even use the headphones for your regular mobile phone.
If you don’t have any microphones or cameras, you can borrow one from your department or Teaching & Learning. Please contact the relevant contact person from your department or write to tl@cbs.dk to make a request for borrowing equipment from Teaching & Learning. Please state what kind of equipment you need (camera, microphone, headset, etc.). Please notice that there is no guarantee that we have the equipment in stock (because of the long delivery times) – so please notify us as soon as you know you will need the equipment.
You can find some quick guides on how to use the external equipment here.
In order to support your blended and online teaching, we have gathered material, tips, and ideas that you can implement directly into your own teaching. This includes ideas for social activities, breakout rooms assignments, how to help your students immerse in the course content or facilitate group work.
Find the toolbox folder HERE.
If you have questions or want to add something from your own teaching, you are more than welcome to contact Ida Marie Malmkjær at imm.tl@cbs.dk.
In light of the current situation concerning the COVID-19 virus, Teaching & Learning has developed some guidelines with different options for you to carry out your teaching online.
