Getting started with Canvas
If you are teaching a course, you will automatically be enrolled in it and you will find them on your dashboard in Canvas. Go to canvas.cbs.dk, and sign in with your CBS login.

Canvas is CBS’ Learning Management System (LMS). In Canvas, all the teaching and learning materials for your course(s) are available for your students, including assignments, quizzes, and discussion forums. To get started, go to canvas.cbs.dk, sign in, and begin editing your course page(s).

How can you use Canvas to leverage the teaching and learning experience for your students?

  • Communication
    It’s easy and quick to communicate with students, e.g. via Announcements, Pages or through the Discussion Forums.
  • Cloud-based
    Canvas is a cloud-based LMS which means that everything is saved online, and you don’t need to worry about losing files or content – everything is stored online, and you can copy it to new courses.
  • Mobile app
    Canvas has a mobile application for both teachers and students, so you can check your courses on the go.
  • Data and analysis
    Proper access to data and analysis about the use of the system at the course level.
  • Canvas Commons
    Allows for the possibility to share courses and content across CBS and all Canvas users.
  • Seamless integrations
    … into a number of learning tools, including Office365, Panopto, Pearson, FeedbackFruits Peer Review tool, McGraw Hill Connect, etc.
